KARAN JOHAR
Karan is one of India’s most successful film directors. He made his directorial debut in 1998 with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which was a major box office hit and won eight Filmfare Awards including Best Movie, and Best Director. Karan has produced and directed several successful films and won several awards since then. Johar has also been extremely successful as the host of the hugely popular chat show Koffee With Karan. In 2006, Karan became the first Indian filmmaker to be a jury member in the Miss World competition. He was also chosen as one of 250 Global Young Leaders by the Geneva-based World Economic Forum 2006.
