Episode #167 (6th November)

Ravan returns to Lanka bare foot and embarrassed. Mandodari pleads him to stop the war and return Sita. She even reminds him of Ram’s victories and powers over Lanka. She even reminds him of the danger and loss caused to Lankan people due to the war.

But Ravan remains adamant. Sita wonders about the darkness in the city. Trijata informs her about Ravan’s defeat and so the entire city of Lanka is depressed and gloomy.

Surpnakha overhears Ravan ordering his messengers to call for all the Rakshas across to fight for evil against Ram. On asking, Ravan informs her that he had underestimated Ram.

Ram is quite a powerful man and his aims never miss the target. Surpnakha is able to sense Ravan’s concern for Lanka. She suggests RAvan to wake up Kumbharan. Being gigantic, it will be quite an easy task to destroy the vaanar sena.

Vibhishan also feels that after being defeated, Ravan will try and wake up Kumbhkaran to fight the war. Kumbhkaran would be the next in the battle field.
