The company’s first venture in the dynamic and exciting business of entertainment was with a Hindi General Entertainment channel also christened NDTV Imagine. The channel which launched on January 21, 2008 has delivered on its promise to Entertain and Delight audiences with a whole new world of Hindi entertainment. Catering to the needs of the entire spectrum of television viewers, the channel offers a wide variety of programming across genres ranging from light-hearted family soaps to period dramas and from reality shows to the most glamorous events of the industry. Ever since its launch, recognized as one of the most successful channel launches in the television industry, NDTV Imagine has consistently grown up the charts and has risen to the no.4 spot in the GEC category. NDTV Imagine has also been recognized for its path breaking content and other initiatives which have created new trends and set new benchmarks in the television industry.

Imagine Showbiz a 24 hour satellite TV channel targeted at the youth, showcasing Bollywood music and celebrity lifestyle content. Launched in August 2008, the channel is distributed across the country on analogue and digital cable systems. |

NDTV Imagine Film Company will lead the charge in the film production & distribution business. Partnering with directors & film-makers of repute, as well as up & coming talent. With multiple projects in varying stages of development, Imagine Film Company will produce and release 6-8 films in the near future. |

NDTV Imagine is also looking to expand into other genres of content, be they animation, horror, action and others; content that transcends time, geographies & platforms and creates a rich bank of intellectual property. This will also serve as backward integration into NDTV Imagine the GEC, as well as for expansion into regional language programming at a later date.
